    The AP sends a beacon stream however the time between messages is quite large (relatively speaking) and as a result clients tend to send probes to speed up their info gathering process.

    This leads me to wonder, why bother sending a beacon stream in the first place if a client is going to probe anyway? Why not save that airtime?
